Oct 20, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish roasted malty coffee and caramel falvor. Has a roasted malty coffee and caramel finish.

Aug 21, 2008 Dark black with off-white head. Faint roasty aroma. Mild burnt flavor. Is this really a brown… more a porter. Not a powerful brew. On tap at brew pub in PDX.

Jun 13, 2008 On tap at Tugboat BrewPub in PDX--Poured a ruddy, muddy thin brown body with next to no head. Nose of java and stale wet malts. Homebrewy, nutty, pourly carbonated and about as shitty as all their beers save for the Chernoble.

Jun 7, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Little to no head on a dark and muddy brown body. Wet and pale nose and flavor, sticky, oily, low carbonation, doesn’t sit right on the palate. Stale old bran muffin flavors, little to no coffee presence. Pretty bad, but not surprising.
