Tugboat I.P.A.

Now this is what NW IPA’s are all about....massive amounts of hops. A coppery-amber, with a tight white head. A bouquet in the nose, flowers, new mown grass, amazing...maybe the most aromatic beer I have ever had. Then the flavor hits you.... hops,then some hops, then some more hops, but not bracingly bitter. A hop heads delight, with a pleasant front to back zing. Yummy!

Tap at their brewpub... came out an unfiltered honey hue with a thin white head that dissipate to nothing on the surface. I enjoy the hazy look in an IPA sometimes. Aroma was yeasty and hoppy, I couldn’t get too good of a sniff though because of the smoking there. Really dry palate which accentuated the hops nicely with other flavors of pine/grass and grainy yeast. A dry hop finish with a touch of malt.

Grapefruit, orange and caramel aromas. Deep yellow,slightly cloudy. minimal head. busy in the mouth. sharp citrus taste, right to the edge (couple years ago had one of these i just couldnt drink, mega-grapefruit peel.) barest hint of caramel

Draft: Slight fruit, green hops. Gold, slight haze. Kinda spicy, flowery,citrusy hops. I know i'm spelling wrong but, effervescent with bitter grapefruit finish. Very drinkable IMO

Clouded amber appearance. lemony, fruity aroma, mildly biscuity. Tropical fruit, lemonade, hints of pineapple and mild grapefruit, dryish puckering finish.
