Commercial Description:
A classic style EPA with imported British malts and and a Tun of British aroma hops. The sweet maltyness and firm body, along with a refreshing hoppy finish make this a great "session ale".

Location: On tap at the Brew Pub, 8/14/09

Aroma: Light hops on the nose, citrus
Appearance: Clear dark gold color
Flavor: Citrus hops, bit stronger then the nose, but similar
Palate: Light to medium body, a bit on the dry side
Overall Impression: This beer is nothing to write home about, but its an enjoyable, I’ll be it subtle and mild, example of the style.

Copper pour with creamy white head and lace. Citrus hops, pepper, and light malt on the nose. Almost sweet caramel, with a medium citrus hop bitter. A tad thin and foamy but still a solid offering.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear liquid goldwith a medium white head. Aroma of light malts, light hops and faint citrus. Taste is much the same as the aroma with a bitter hoppy finish. Has a bad grapefruit aftertaste.

On tap in AC. Not bad. Light aroma. Golden color with a small head. Flavor was hops, slight malts. Dry finish. A good lawn mower beer.

This brew had little to no aroma with a light brown color. It went down pretty watery in the beginning and had a nasty soap-like hop taste in the end. What a terrible beer. Possible that I got a bad batch, or the glass wasn’t washed out. I also experienced this sensation with the Irish Red.

8-4-08....draft at Tun....Light copper body with a very small off-white head...crisp refreshing body...a little watery, but a nice clean flavor...baby malts and hops...zingy effervescence....easy drinkin’---a fresh aroma, its light and more hop driven than malt...nice!

Great beer. Tried to find something to really complain about, because I didnt really want to like this beer (only because Tun Tavern is so damn far from me) but found that impossible. Drink this.
