Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, and Blankboy. Nice cascade hop aroma with sweet light malt. Light orange, small head. Light piney hops in taste, some candy sweetness. Interesting. Very very sweet, bitter and good! Certainly one of the better APA’s I have had.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & R. - courtesy of R. Golden-amber with a nice white head. Aroma is herbal and a bit earthy, with some rye and citrus notes. Flavour is sharp and edgy, with a slow-building dry bitterness - lots of orange and grapefruit, with a mild malt backing. Mmmmm, yeah, this is good...

Appears a light orange toned amber. Small streams of CO2 slowly rises to the top of the 1 finger, ivory colored cap. Tiny bits of spotty lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of caramel malts with a touch of biscuit malts backed up by a moderate amount of spicey, citrusy, wood-like, pine laden hops. Taste is of the same aromas with a sugary grapefruit, oaky notes, and a small dosage of caramel. Mouthfeel is clean, citrusy, spritzy, and medium bodied. Wood-like, bitter finish that hangs on the back of the tongue. Balance seems to be decent for the most part but starts to fade about half way through the glass. Drinkability is pretty good. I know this one is a personal favorite and standby of sckressler. Not a bad choice.

Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev. Clear amber with a decent head. Lovely sweet rye malt aroma and middling resiny hops - pleasant. Taste - rather astoundingly bitter after the nose - sharp, peppery initial flavour, funky dry bitter hops build and build to a long, simple bitter finish. Okay body, very astringent, only lightly carbonated - I quite enjoyed this, that taste really surpised me though.

I agree with victory. Not as complex or heavy as a 60 minute, but more accessible to the non-hopheads out there.

A nice cloudy gold color with good hop aroma. Good bitterness and finish. Reminded me somewhat of a 60 minute IPA, but not quite as overpowering.

Nice APA with nice citrusy-pine hop taste. Floral aroma with a nice, appetizing look to it. Grabbed the last 6-pk of these along with an Old Dominon Oak Barrel Stout in a supermarket.

Pours a very lightly hazy golden amber with an average off white lightly lacing head. Aroma of citrus and pine from the hops, caramel malt. Really a nicely balanced aroma. Flavors of the same with some more of the pine and a light bitterness coming through after the pine. The bitterness sticks around on the tongue for a bit. Also picking up some roastiness. Mouthfeel is very chewy.
