A deep golden color with a foamy off-white head. Nice hop scent, must be the Mt. Hood I smell. Enough malt to balance the scent. Sweet and floral, very aromatic tasting if that makes any sense with a crisp bitter follow. Quite good and a fun beer to drink. Thank you Belle!

A nice big rounded ale for a change! Nice and hazy, like an ale should be. Very biting, lots of hops in this one, very floral very sharp aroma, nice full flavor, could have been a little smoother however. I am going to rate this among my favorite pale ales.

Okay, I’ll admit it -- I’ve got a problem. I’m a sucker for any beer with the word "hop" prominently displayed on the label. You could slap an "IPA" label on a bottle of macro lager and I’d buy it. This is an ESB-type beverage with a slightly Czech-pilsnery-green-bottly-skunked aroma. Light session-caliber material, thinner body, nice easy finish. 7 or 7.5/10.

The hops are what you notice, as they should be with the name Hop Pocket. A medium body could be beefed up a bit, but otherwise a great beer.

Slightly hazy reddish amber with a medium off white head. Fruity aroma with plenty of hops and grapefruit. Sweet and malty flavor with enough hop bitterness to pass for a decent IPA. As an American Pales go, this one is very good. More character than many of the Left Coast varieties. This is also a good any occasion beer - refreshing enough for summer but hearty enough for winter.

Pours a hazy amber with a medium sized tan, chunky head. Aroma dominated by citrusy hops. Nothing jumps out in the flavor, just a nice piney hoppiness balanced by some sweet maltiness. Nicely done APA.

Bottle
Grassy and piney nose. Amber, low carbonation, low head. Grass, herbal, piney hop flavors - good balance. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Straw and and herbal pine aftertaste.

Gold color with nice head retention and lacing. Taste starts out real hoppy, with more tangerine than grapefruit to go along with some fresh cut grass. Some malt, but mostly a citrus hop taste.
