| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2003 The beer starts out with a huge off-white head releasing a strong and nice hop aroma. It has a strong, one-dimensional hop flavor and is very easy drinking. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Flowery hop aroma and a nice tingly mouthfeel. Grapefruit twang on this hop monster with a long lasting bitter flavor. Many thanks to Jeremy for the local trade. unclebleen (620), California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 15, 2003 Slightly hazy amber color. Aroma is slightly piney and floral, mainly hops with little malt. Really like this beer's aroma. Tastes like it smells. Nice flowery flavor with just a hint of grapefruit. Very interesting beer with excellent balance. Bigger mouthfeel than expected for this style. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 12, 2003 This stuff is just awesome. Very hoppy in the aroma and taste. Slightly sweet in the flavor, mildly tastes of confectioner's sugar. Very rich and full in the mouthfeel, this one just delivers and is very consistent in the flavor. Highly reccomended. beerslayer (753), New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 6, 2003 This was a good American pale ale. Hoppy, malty and a little citric. Finishes clean, crisp, and a little bitter. savitska (163), Smyrna, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 28, 2003 I've anticipated drinking this beer for quite some time, given my penchant for enjoying hoppy ales. The color and aroma are a perfect golden hue and a crisp but not too floral bouquet. Bitter as the style would suggest, but different from the aggressive, west coast ales who rely soley on Cascade hops. The Mt. Hood makes a definite difference in body and bite. Overall, a good example of the American Pale Ale style. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2003 Has a slightly cloudy, golden appearance. Hoppy aroma and flavor. A pretty good beer but I think I like the Hop Pocket Pils a little more.
