A dirty amber beer with lots of small floaties in it and a huge tan head, not bad looking, but just dirty looking. The aroma and taste is of caramel malt, fruits, peach and hops. Medium body with a light sweet dry finish. Papsoe (14997), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Amber golden with tiny, floating impurities and a huge, rough, shaving foam style, lacing head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma with some fat citrus hops. Medium body with sweet caramel flavour and a distinct, hoppy finish. 171107 mcart034 (35), Manassas, Virginia, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 8, 2007 When they say it is carefully hopped, does that mean that they just put one hop in a time, watch and see what happens, and then put another in? “Frankie! What the hell are you doing? Don’t just throw those hops in there!” I am just curious is all.
Pours a slightly fogged orange amber with a decent crème head. And the small head that is there actually sticks around for quite some time. Nose is pretty mild really with a slight wood thing going on. Very mild perfume scents there as well. Flavor is smooth and slightly earthy. Hops are there, but don’t kick you in the mouth at all. Feel has a good carbonation to it and a good liquid feel. Overall very drinkable. Very smooth and consistent. Could easily be a session brew. Would be interested to see this one on tap and cask too. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Pours with a golden orange body topped by a thin to medium thick head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a slight underlying hop note that comes through more in the finish. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry. BREWMUSKCLES (1075), New Jersey, USA

I asked for a new beer and the bartender tells me, well there’s Tupper, its pretty strong and hoppy, you might not like it. I laughed and told him to pour me one. Well, I thought it was great. Very hoppy, smooth, medium to strong bitterness, good malt. Overall, it had a very full, and robust taste. I think I’ll try this one again to see if I like it as much the second time. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Thin, hoppy, relatively flavorful but ultimately disappointing. I had heard great things about this beer, but it seems fairly standard to me and nowhere near the league of Victory’s hoppy offerings. Still, not bad overall ... just not as good as I had hoped.
