| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Love the extreme hoppy smell! I smell some sweet, but it is not anything that I would actually be able to determine. The beer is a nice amber/orange color. The head quickly fades away leaving all the goodness behind. A wonderful malt mouthwell. Decently smooth, but nothing to write home about. A good beer, but lacks the slight sweet, that I love in I.P.As but in this case an A.P.A. Love the extreme hoppy FLAVOR. This beer is loaded with hops and just allows you to sit bank and enjoy we beer drinkers know as hops. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Golden pour with a nice frothy head, decent retention and minimal lace. The nose is grassy, floral, earthen hops with a hint of citrus fruits. The flavor is of strict pale malts, interacting with tart, dry citrus notes. It crosses the palate quickly, leading to a lingering bitter finish, via the Mt. Hoods and Cascades (I detected more Mt. Hood overall). The mouthfeel was a bit underwhelming... thin at times and almost lacking sustenance.... bordering "watery". The lingering bitters really wake up the tongue with a zesty coating that work quite well with the carbonation levels. Overall, a decent APA, but I just wish that this had a little more character. (Note: Went down well at a summer outdoor BBQ, so the thin quality does have its advantages standing in front of the grill!) TheCEO (100), USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2007 Pours a deep gold with hints of amber and orange and with a thick, big-bubbled (though not soapy) off-white head that fades quickly into a thin cloud floating on the surface - leaving only a little lace on the glass. The aroma is very fruity, nicely hopped (citrus, pine, flowery), and very malty with nice nutty and caramel aromas. The flavor starts sweet with a citrusy-hop sweetness that combines with honey-like malts. The middle of the tongue picks up hints of roasted grain, crystal malts, and some hop bitterness - earthy and piney. The beer has a long and somewhat dry finish that is sweet, a little roasty (hints of chocolate), and nicely hoppy and bitter. The aftertaste is mostly hops. The mouthfeel is lovely - perfect amount of body with creamy carbonation. Overall, an excellent pale ale Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a nice head aboard. Nose is not overly hoppy. A good sign? Not really, very bitter but also thin and watery. Not robust and does not take a stand although the bitterness remains throughout. bryandhargrave (165), Richmond, Virginia, USA
