The beer pours VERY heady, which makes sense since it is krauzened. A very hoppy pils also, with overtones of citrus, coriander, white wine, and jasmine. This beer is extremely complex, and I notice different taste sensations every time I try it. I stack this with Victory, Lancaster, and Pilsner Urquell in my top 5 pilseners. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2004 Light golden with a tall off white head. Noble hops aroma abounds with light toasted white bread, lager yeast and lemon zest prancing in the background. Lively and crisp feel. Mild sweet start leads to a mild acidic hops wash that makes the brew more lively. Quite refreshing MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2004 bottle, unfiltered, room temperature in a lager glass: Appearance is a golden liquid, shining and appealing, beautiful. Big sticky mountainous frothy head is diminishing, but leaves a good 2cm for a long time. Excellent balanced aroma of fresh harvested hops, I'd have thought a mix of Saaz and Cascade, but description tells me not. Malt profile is closing to honey in nose, but quite restrained in mouth, maybe a sweet peat moss aspect. Pretty dry all the way, very herbal with a nice creamy/powdery texture. Surprisingly a mild alcohol note toward the finish.. Good, but I expected more following Jackson's praise. Thanks Mike! SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2004 Classic Pilsner pour - golden yellow with a rich creamy head. Nice clean hop & malt aroma. Clean, dry and refreshing with a nice hop bite. Not quite a Boh Pils, but a well hopped Pils. Very Nice. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA
