The aroma is just beautiful: floral and citrus with just a tinge of bready malt. The flavor keeps the good times rolling, nice mix of citrus and biscuit flavors. Nice palate also, crisp finish. I really like this one. Previous rating 7/3/8/3/15. hopscotch (5510), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Lots of folks enjoy it... check out other ratings for accurate verbiage. I can’t stay far enough away from this beer. Too earthy and bitter in all the wrong ways. Just my opinion. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 26, 2003 Very hoppy. The hops and the malt work very well together in the excellent made and tasting Pilsner. BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2003 Medium yellow hue with small fizzy head, light to medium-bodied. Moderate hoppy aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange, and flowers. Hints of spice of grain as well. Moderately hoppy taste but not as aggressive as the ale. Dry and lively mouthfeel, light metallic finish. Milder in aroma and taste than the Tuppers Ale, but by no means is this bland. Recommended. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2003 On tap at the Old Dominion 7th Annual Beer Festival. First beer of the day, which IMHO, turned out to be the best also. Poured out a golden yellow color, with a fast fading head, probably due to the excessive heat of the day. Strong aromas of malts & very strong fresh hop aromas as well. This beer must be dry-hopped, because the aromas are almost overpowering. Very rich mouthfeel, coats the tongue with hoppy goodness too. Finishes crisp & hoppy. A really good beer on tap, if I do say so myself. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia

Not as brash in the presentation of Hop flavor, though the taste is still more than generous. Can’t go wrong with this one, as its probably the best pilsner out there. jsquire (2113), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
