Commercial Description:
Tuppers’ Hop Pocket Pils is made via a complex hopping schedule which includes dry hopping for weeks over whole-flower Saaz and Mt. Hood hops. Also used are Saaz, Mittelfruh, Spalt and Mt. Hood in the kettle. The beer is bottled and keg conditioned which provides very fine carbonation and a fine head.

Bottle; poured a clearish, dark gold. Small to medium white head. Aroma of floral hops, malt, wheat, and some earthy tones. Very drinkable with a nice hops ending. Really well done for the style; good malt presence. A little creaminess. Some wheatiness and peppering. One of my favorites for the style.

Poured in two servings, first light gold and clear, second with a slight haze. Smell is grass and sweet hay/wheat. Light & crisp in the mouth with a hoppy grapefruit or orange rind bitterness in the finish. Went down quite easily, very drinkable, hoppy pilsener.

Bottle. Aroma of german malt and some floral hops. The flavor has the malt presence of a classic german pilsener paired with floral and bittering hops. A unique and flavorful beer.

Want List Bottle from Shigadeyo! Bottled 9 21 06. Nose of wheat and light flowery hops, like a good Pilsener should smell; slightly hazed darker gold with a medium white head; flavor is wheaty with a decent hop bitterness, and a little pepperiness. Body is light medium and the finish is all hops. Great Pils!

12oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is grain/maybe wheat, hops-sight spicy/floral. Taste is light/medium malt/maybe wheat, hops-light spicy/floral. Light/medium body. Creamy mouth feel. OK carbonation.

I really like this beer. The hoppiness is prefect for my taste. Reminds me of my favorite IPAs. Not too complex but it packs a wallop on the palate. I definitely want to try Tuppers’ other offerings.
