Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA May 24, 2004 Updated: Nov 22, 2004ReRate-Tap at brewpub-11/20/043 pours a copper hue with no head whatsoever. citric hop aroma with a touch of caramel sweetness. the beer has suffered from a flimsy watery palate. very low carbonation. buttery hops. another TMBC beer suffering from diacytl.
tap at brewpub-pours a nice amber hue with minimal head. very hoppy aroma for a steam beer. piney, citrus hops with toasty malts. Kinda reminds me of SNCA, but this is a Lager? Crazy!!! rating 3.7
Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 8, 2004 Deep copper-colored beer with a thin sticky head. This is a super well balanced malt-hoppy goodness with a tannic finish. I think this beer rocked! MrRomero (1881), Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany Apr 1, 2004 Poured a clear amber with a thin head. I probably had palate fatigue but this tasted like the Red Rye. Hoppy aroma and flavor with a bitter finish. Nice. erway (1001), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Jan 18, 2004 Updated: Mar 18, 2004A great session brew with a dark amber body. Creamy head with the aroma of fresh cascades. Might be brewed in the same manner as anchor steam but is far darker with a lot more character. I drank two of their liter mugs of this.
re-rate 3/18/04: Found out that its' made with 1056 but is cold conditioned. Lots of hoppiness and could easily pass for an ESB. A great seesion brew! whaleman (2168), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 31, 2003 Updated: May 28, 2004Copper body and nice hop spice in this beer. Darker, bigger body, and hoppier than any steam beer that I've encountered. A good food beer.
