Aug 19, 2008 Bottle from Sam’s Clybourn. Pour is very pale yellow. Nose is mildly musty and hoppish, not hoppy. Taste is cheesy. That’s really all I get out of it, maybe a touch of straw. Pretty not good...

Aug 10, 2008 Very light pale malt aroma. Clear light straw with small white head. Light pale malts with honey and touch of spicey nobel hop flavor. Light body and a thin mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Clean dry finish with touch of hop bitterness.

Light yellow wit a white head. Aroma light malty (caramel) and hoppy. Flavor light/moderate sweet and light bitter. Light body. They have used the finest malts from Kenya.

Jul 28, 2008 500 ml bottle. Pours extremely pale. A small, fizzy, white head that leaves quickly. Heavy carbonation during the pour and a continuous stream of rising bubbles. Almost no aroma. Smells like a light lager. Faint citrus and malt. Less taste than a typical American Light Lager. Really hard to describe, but I guess it has a malt and spice hint. Finishes like champagne and seltzer water. Overall, it looks dead, tastes dead, and smells dead. Its worth trying a beer from Africa, but it really has nothing going for it. The bottle says that it was named after the elephant that killed one of the brewery’s founders, which I find absolutely hilarious.
