Tap nice dark black pour, very watery thin flavor. Much too thin to be a proper porter. Would not buy again

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a very dark, almost opaque color with a ruby tint and off-white head. Some coffee over a sweet roasted malt makes up the aroma. Some ashiness. Coffee and mildly sweet roasted malt flavor. Light fruitiness. Light-medium body.

dark brown, scant head, dry chocolate aroma, dry dark chocolate flavor, light roasted keeps it dry, a coffee character provides a bitter finish,

OC tour, tap at brewpub: Deep brown with small head and minimal lace, a bit oily. The aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, hazelnut, charred malt, plum and anise. The taste is your standard fare of coffee, chocolate, nut, mild fruit with a light grassy bitterness. The feel is lively and chalky. A good brew and drinkable.
