JohnC (1761), Mission Viejo, California, USA Aug 29, 2008 a very light bodied and flavored porter. kind of a ’porter light’ . it’s color wasn’t even a dark brown Haslinger (552), Syracuse, New York, USA Apr 19, 2008 Tap nice dark black pour, very watery thin flavor. Much too thin to be a proper porter. Would not buy again goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Jan 7, 2008 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a very dark, almost opaque color with a ruby tint and off-white head. Some coffee over a sweet roasted malt makes up the aroma. Some ashiness. Coffee and mildly sweet roasted malt flavor. Light fruitiness. Light-medium body. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Dec 12, 2007 Date: 12/02/2007

BBB63 (3810), La Porte, Indiana, USA Dec 5, 2007 OC tour, tap at brewpub: Deep brown with small head and minimal lace, a bit oily. The aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, hazelnut, charred malt, plum and anise. The taste is your standard fare of coffee, chocolate, nut, mild fruit with a light grassy bitterness. The feel is lively and chalky. A good brew and drinkable.
