Nov 2, 2009 On tap at the brewpub a few weeks back. Color was an amber/red. Aroma of caramel, fruit, red malt and citrus. For the style, the flavor was very good. Cocoa, red malt, caramel wtih some dry chalkiness. Quite tasty overall.

Jul 23, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small off-white head. Roasted malt and toffee aroma. Roasted malt flavoured, light fruity note to a toffee caramelish base. Bitter and lingering roasted caramel malt flavoured finish.

Malty aroma. Amber red coloured and malty with some dryness in a pale nutty roast finish.

Poured a deeper amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, lots of maltiness, and I was getting some toasted graininess. Tastes of chocolate, caramel, and the same toasted grains.
