Poured a deeper amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, lots of maltiness, and I was getting some toasted graininess. Tastes of chocolate, caramel, and the same toasted grains.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 17, 2004 Cask. Poured a murky brown color that looked like unfiltered iced tea with a nice sized head. Aroma was a vanilla maltiness and mellow hops. Initial taste is a mild bitterness, however a bit watery with a touch of maltiness. Finish had a lingering bitterness. Somehow, still creamy and smooth.
