| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Poured a bright golden color that was slightly transparent. I got a lot of spicey aromas and flavors. Some banana fruit in the flavor as well. The finish was a little bitter and did not finish well for me. Up until the finish was a pretty smooth enjoyable drink. Cybercat (825), Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2008 This comes out of the tap a lovely clear golden color with a fairly thick white head. Aroma is richly malty and has just a hint of fruit. Flavor is smooth and malty with some hop bitterness and an undertone of apple or pear. Texture is smooth and crisp, making this a singularly pleasant ale to drink.
