An excellent brew for a hops lover who doesn’t want a big, filling beer. alexanderj (2263), Chino Hills, California, USA

Copper in color with citrus and floral hops in the aroma. Flavor was similar; good amount of hops for the style Good for the style. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Draft. 12 oz. Pours a hazy copper. Smallish white head. Piney aroma. Malt flavor hits you at the start but it’s the hops that take this one across the finish line. Clean, crisp finish. The bitterness sticks around for a bit. jcwattsrugger (5361), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Words: randall with jack and oak
picking up a bit of whisky and even oak, I didn’t expect this combination to do much in the randall but it does work nicely,

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 11, 2007 Draught. Pours a cloudy orange with a tall white head. The nose is robust and refreshing with hints of strong grapefruit and a citrus bouquet, tea, honey. The flavor is nicely drying with superb balance and cleanliness of flavor. More notes of pine, grapefruit, herbs in the flavor. This is one of those superior APA’s that keeps me coming back to the style. CaptainCougar (5493), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Good, fresh grapefruity hoppy aroma has a touch of pale malty sweetness. Body starts with pleasant light malty and fresh hoppy balance. Very drinkable without sacrificing flavor or body.
