An excellent brew for a hops lover who doesn’t want a big, filling beer. craftbeerdesign (767), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 31, 2008 This one pours a warm, dark amber that is semi-transparent and rather appetizing. Flavor is strong and hoppy with a hint of lemon and an evergreen undertone. Flavor is very hoppy and evergreen-ish and has a good lemony touch, plus some malty tones. Aftertaste is fairly but not fiercely bitter. A must for anyone who loves hops. NachlamSie (1653), Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 11, 2007 Draught. Pours a cloudy orange with a tall white head. The nose is robust and refreshing with hints of strong grapefruit and a citrus bouquet, tea, honey. The flavor is nicely drying with superb balance and cleanliness of flavor. More notes of pine, grapefruit, herbs in the flavor. This is one of those superior APA’s that keeps me coming back to the style. CaptainCougar (5534), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Flowery hop aroma.
The flavor is mildly bitter with good malt support that finishes with a touch of dryness.
