Outstanding golden, hoppy beer using First Gold, Chinook and Styrian Goldings for full-flavoured satisfaction. 50 EBU. Good body and luscious aroma. Inspired by the statues of water nymphs in York House gardens in Twickenham, known locally as the Naked Ladies.

(Cask at Speaker, Westminster, London, 27 Nov 2009) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit and fresh hops. Fruity taste with citrus (grapefruit), apricots and fresh citrussy, lemony hops in a rather bitter finish. Light body, balanced sweetness. Very nice and refreshing bitter with a generous hop character (as usual with the Twickenham ales).

On cask at realale.com: Great looking. A zingy orange with twists and turns of light head. The nose is lightly barnyard with hints of satsuma and a light eggyness. A lovely round bitterness explodes into the mouth. Plenty of roasty, toasty light malts full of caramel vigour are lifted and thrown around by the bustling hoppiness. The palate is lightly oily with hints of carbonation. It is a darned tasty beer with a long nutty finish.

Cask (Harp, Strand, London) - Gold/amber with a white head. Slightly hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, tea and biscuity malt. Hoppy and fruity taste with notes of tea and peppery hops standing out.

Cask in the rake. Alround rating: Biscuity malt character, an american interperitation of an english pale ale style, grassy bittering hop, small mango citrus character. Good stuff alround.

Cask. At The Old Fountain. Pale clear amber-tinged gold with an average creamy off-white head. Oooh - lovely pungent grassy-bitter aroma, slightly herbal, with just a faint light grain malt presence - this one’s pretty much all about the hoppiness. The taste follows the nose - grassy, no alcohol, with a long fresh and pungent linger. Light bodied, fairly astringent, crisp, mildly carbonated, and very refreshing - really, really good.

Yellow, clear body. White head. Aroma of hops: nice, but not very intense. Moderately bitter flavour. Quite nice and solid.
