Crystal clear, copper-amber body with just a bubbly ring around the rim of the glass. Modest malt-fruity aroma. Mild resinous hops in flavour supported by earthy malts. Bitter hints to the finish. Very average for the style (London, 02.08.2009) (no.2470).

A tawny beer with a thinnish film of white head. Aromas of light toast with background hints of hops. Sweetish and easygoing. Nothing too dry here. Light roasted chocolate malts, very airy.
Reasonably heavy on the tongue but does seem slightly too thin.
An easy but slightly sickly session. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England
