Feb 3, 2007 Pours a hazy copper brown, topped by a creamy but scant and short-lived head of tan foam. Good filmy webbed lacing, appears to have a nice level of carbonation. Mildly sweet malt in the aroma with a whiff or apricot.
The flavor is drier than the aroma, with delicious toasted malt, a touch of caramel, slight fruity apricot, and a fair dose of grain. Hops are present only for balance. Medium body, light smooth carbonation, lingering dry toasted malt and grain in the aftertaste.

Mar 31, 2006 Growler. Copper color with no head. Nice aroma of dry apricots. This surprisingly enough carries over to the taste which builds nicely over the typical grainy base. Slightly above average.
