Bottle. Poured a dark black color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of coffee latte, roast, vanilla and light smoke. Tastes of latte, roast, chocolate, and light vanilla. I’m a sucker for coffee beers.

[Colorado Road Trip – 2006] A great Espresso Stout. Loved the flavors. This was a thick black full of aroma tar like substance that only a real beer drinker would love. The coffee and chocolate flavors where great. This had a nice finish and a wonderful overall taste. I liked this beer.

bottle. black/maple pour with almost no head. coffee, sweet chocolate, roasted malts, small hops aroma. very smooth. coffee is nice, not overpowering and the sweet chocolate follows in and stays in the aftertaste. Hops balance in as well. Not complicated at all but very drinkable and enjoyable. nice job twisted pine.

picked up a bomber at Applejack’s while in Colorado last June and shared at a recent tasting. I’m not always a big fan of over-the-top coffee type stouts, but this one was good. strong aroma of coffee, but the flavors were a nice blend of coffee, roasted malts and with enough hops to tie it all together nicely.

Thanks for sharing, Duane. The body was black with a yellow and khaki colored head. The aroma was coffee with some bread crust. The taste was light coffee with some hints of peaches. There was also a bit of roasted almonds. Nice and balanced, I enjoyed this one.

tap at the brewery. dark almost pitch black with a brown head. amazing coffee nose, like being in a nice coffee house with a bowl of chocolate ice cream. smooth wet coffee flavor with light caramel & a chocolate finish. bitter coffee flavor works so well in this.

This was simply delicious. Pours a murky dark dark brown, with a rich tan head. Aroma of freshly brewed coffee goodness, nice and roasty. Flavors has some rich toffee flavors, along with some tasty fruits covered in cocoa dustiness. Rich chocolately goodness, a very drinkable stout!
