Draft at the brewpub. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes fo roasted malt and expresso coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of expresso beans, and medium notes of medium roasted coffee beans, as well as hints of wood, leading to a dry bitter coffee finish.

Bottle. Poured a dark black color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of coffee latte, roast, vanilla and light smoke. Tastes of latte, roast, chocolate, and light vanilla. I’m a sucker for coffee beers.

Bottle... O-Town Throwdown... Poured dark, sits black in the glass with a small, creamy, khaki head. Vanilla, cocoa, espresso nose with a smidgen of oxidation. Mildly sweet flavor with lots of coffee and chocolate. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Chocolaty finish. Thanks to Crosling for his generosity!
