Awful buttered popcorn nose... heavy with diacetyl, overpowering what would be some lemon citrus notes... horrible smell. Flavor is more buttered popcorn and crackers... tastes like Chicken-in-a-Biscuit. Body is lacking, medium fullness, weakens on the back... overall it’s just a downright awful beer, I hope it’s got to be better on draft. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA

Doughy nose, smells kind of old, with some very light citrus notes. Biscuity maltiness, semi-sweet and very light throughout. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours pale with a thin white head. Kind of a musty wheat aroma. The flavor finds malts and a hint of citrus and light nuts. Sweet throughout with a light body. (Rating from June ’07) patrick767 (2052), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2008 tap at the brewpub - Pours clear yellow with good lacing. The aroma is pale malt with light fruity esters in the background of both the aroma and flavor. It’s a sweet, light, refreshing beer as the style should be. It’s still fairly average overall, but maybe a little better than it’s rated. scottmc (167), Lakewood, Colorado, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Thanks to kenb for this beer. The wet paperbag aroma that I associate with the style was there. A clean yellow pour with a white head and lace. A light flavor of fruit and paper (wet). The palate was a tad thin and watery. Overall a good beer for the style. It is better than I thought it would be. It is very refreshing, crisp, and clean. A good offering per the style. thanks ken illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 26, 2007 Bottle shared by Decaturstevo via Kenb. This was the first beer of the night. Pours a pale honey golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, lemon, and some faint european hops. Texture is medium light and refreshing on the palate. Malt flavors of pilsner and biscuit are countered nice by pleasant spicy hops and hints of citrus (lemon). Refreshing but slighly watery finish, with some dusty and yeasty notes. This was not too bad, and a bit under rated. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
