bottle, pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head. slight hay nose with some herbal metallic notes. taste is lemony hop and a dull grain flavor. metallic notes in the finish, dry bitterness lingers. jcwattsrugger (5578), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Pours with thin lacing, hazy light yellow body. Fainy grainy, lemon aroma. Taste is very light hops, fruit. Actually, it’s very tasteless- not good, not appauling, just lacking in taste. Like water. I don’t know what the point of this beer is. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 16, 2006 Decent, with a bit of light citrus fruit in the nose, biscuity malts, some grassiness, but very light and easy to drink, just not much there overall. Braudog (3777), Dayton, Ohio, USA

A Kolsch? This is creamy, sticky headed. Not so German, me thinks. Vaguely citrusy but pretty empty. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2005 I really like the aromas in this beer, but that was about all I found engaging about it. The color is cloudy pale gold with a light, thin head and weak carbonation. The aromas contain notes of honey, vanilla, and clean citrus. The palate is watery and thin. The flavor is easy, lightly hoppy with just a little additional payoff on the honey aroma. BeerandBlues2 (3231), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2004 Poured a light golden yellow with a full white head. Lacing was too slippery and didn’t stick to the glass.
A fantastic nose. This ale smelled like a Sauvignon Blanc aged in wood barrels along with some apricots and peaces in the aroma. Truly excellent.
A really nice beer for the style. Really refreshing and remarkably drinkable. A nice zest to the beer with lemons and caramel very present in the mouth.
A great starter beer for sure. I won’t be having this one again but I certainly will be recommending it. Not bad at all.
