Commercial Description:
Our newest beer in the lineup. This India Pale Ale is loaded with hops yet balanced with a malty sweetness. A fine beer from the first aroma sense to the finish!

Hazy yellowish copper color. Very generous and fragrant head. Nose is the thing for this beer. Big Christmas spices nose with pine. Think Christmas pudding, or spice cake. Very appetizing nose. Given the wonderful nose this beer is a little disappointing on the palate. A mellow/weakish malt character and slightly sharp but tame hoppiness is all there is. Unexciting. With a nose like this, you have to give us more!

( 12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie ) Pours a clear golden orange body with a small white head. Aroma of orange, grass, and pine. Flavor of hops (grass, citrus, pine) and caramel malt with a dry, bitter finish.

Hazy copper beer with a whole mess ’o floaties - small, fizzy lace - nose of bread, a healthy dose of floral character, some caramel malt, noticeable oxidation - the flavor is malty up front, bready, medium bodied - astringent hop flavor, some acidity on top of that - some grapefruit and other tropical character - tastes like it has a tiny bit of an infection, which is actually giving it a little more depth - tastes like it might have once been a good beer - funny, I think this bottle is relatively fresh.
