Strong hoppy aroma, with lots of pine. Taste was pretty similar, but with some astringency towards the end. Not as strong as some IPAs, but still a pretty good one that I enjoyed. scottmc (167), Lakewood, Colorado, USA

Small offwhite heaf, fair retention with a small bit of spotty laceing left behind. Orange, gold hued brew thats fairly hazy. Nose is citrusy, and piney with some bready malty notes backing them up. Body is med/light, sorta thin but a touch resiny. Medium sweet caramel malts playing of the citrus hop flavors, orange rinds and piney hop flavors. Well balanced with an apreciated bitterness in the end. An easy quaffin IPA. Thanks again Alan! jefcon (1000), Arlington, Virginia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Slightly cloudy amber pour with a small white head that fades fast. Decent lacing of the glass. Nose is a bit musty with a small amount of citrusy hop aroma. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Flavor starts with a little grapefruit and finish with a fair amount of hop bitterness. Not a bad IPA overall. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color wtih a larger sized white head. Aromas of pine, lightly earthy, and some citrus. Tastes of citrus and pine. Tastes on the weaker and somewhat watery side (kinda like the body). This one was a let down.
