Aug 16, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is lovely grassy hoppy which also lends it notes of pine needles and citrus. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy which primarily gives it notes of grass and pine needles, leading to a dry and very bitter finish.

Jul 17, 2008 (12oz bottle, thanks acrdz) Crystal clear light amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some pine, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, orange/pine, some bread, light floral. Light-medium body. APAish.

Sep 3, 2009 ( 12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie ) Pours a clear golden orange body with a small white head. Aroma of orange, grass, and pine. Flavor of hops (grass, citrus, pine) and caramel malt with a dry, bitter finish.

Feb 28, 2007 12oz bottle acquired in trade (as part of the Perfect 10 swap) with Kevin (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color wtih a larger sized white head. Aromas of pine, lightly earthy, and some citrus. Tastes of citrus and pine. Tastes on the weaker and somewhat watery side (kinda like the body). This one was a let down.

Nov 4, 2006 on tap-pours an off white head with slight hazy gold color. Aroma is citrus hops, secondary sweet malt. Taste is citrus hops with a bite, secondary sweet malt-light caramel. OK carbonation.

Dec 21, 2006 22oz bottle sampled in mid-August ’06: Pours a clear dark golden bronze with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Aroma has a big, fresh piny spruce and grapefruity hoppy presence with a nice, mild crystal malty balance. Body starts with a semi-sweet toasty caramel maltiness with good fresh piny citrus hoppy balance. Very smooth and drinkable, a nice IPA.

Mar 24, 2009 Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells of caramel and peppery. tastes bitter and non-decsript with some peppery hints and a caramelly finish.

Jan 24, 2005 22oz bottle. Really disappointed in this one. Nice clear peach color, light bottle and lager-grain aroma, nothing like an expected IPA aroma. Flavor is light, body is light... tastes like some wild wheat and grains, sweet oranges but overrun with a dusty grain flavor. Don’t waste your money, not even worth trying.
