Bottle on the reccomendation of Boboski. Good call bro. Lots of raisins, some alcohol, and milk chocolate. Black body with a medium head. Full and very creamy mouthfeel. Lots of great milk chocolate tastes up front, followed by some wood flavors, with a wonderful light citrus hop finish. This is easily in the stout category. Great brew.

A true classic in every sense. Pours dark with a decent head tha leaves a ring of lace around the glass. Strong coffee roasted chocolate aromas spew forward. Full nectar with superb carbonation. Heavily roasted with dark chocolate malts steal the show allowing a few nuances like nuts, coffee, and cake bread to make their cameo’s. The finish is bittered exquisitely leaving gobs of coffee roasted cocoa to deal with. This brew is very rich and only mildly sweet. Very well balanced and definitely savory. Malted milk balls with dark chocolate instead of milk. Highly recommended.

Dark brown color with a thick tan head. Rich soy, plum and brown sugar aroma. Taste of sweet brown sugar and roasted malt in the body. Smooth, robust palate masks the alcohol quite well. Great complexity and balance make this a very enjoyable and flavorful brew.

Marshmello, raisons, chocolat malt, and a little carmelized date. Deep brown body with a thick oily tan head. Touches of mollases in the mouth with roasted grainieness and some herbal hops, and a touch of toffee. Finishes grainy and chocolaty.

Almost black with a cappucino like head, nice frothy lace. Heavenly aroma of roasted dark malts and grains, bitter chocolate, coffee, licorice, alcohol and others. Medium/thin bodied, active carb bite, flavors of roasted grain, nuts, cocoa powder, bit of sweet dark fruit (raison/prune), very smooth, drinkable, nice brashness thats addictive. Zingy hopsnap at the end finishes this baby nicely. One of the better porters out there IMHO. Flavors really come out as it warms.

Dark reddish brown, medium brown head. Absolutly awesome aroma of cocoa, vanilla and cream. Soft malty texture. Taste is light cocoa and chocolate, hints of roasted malt. Finish brings out more of the roasted malt and raisins. Only very light hopping in this beer, could use a touch more in the finish. An incredibly well balanced and approachable porter, I can see why this is so popular and hard to find! Big thanks to Ernest for hooking me up with this, I’ve been wanting to taste it for awhile.

The optimum dessert! Nice chocolate, roasted coffee nose. Opaque, little foamy fast diminishing head. Tastes like pure milk chocolate, roasted coffeebeans. Textural thickness on the tongue, smooth and almost silky!! Great balance - more, I wanna have more!!! Thanks Ern so much!
