Cask Stillage at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 25/09/2009 Slight oak aroma. Amber coloured with some alcohol present. Oaked with a crisp and dry lasting malt finish.

Vanilla whiskey barrel arroma. Amber color. Tastes like its description; a bit intense on the whiskey. Definately a new take on the red ale. It was called "Reilly’s Oak Whiskey Red" at the brewery.

Tap at brewery during GABF 2009, listed as Reilley’s Oak Whiskey Red.
Pours an aroma of weak, watered-down bottom-shelf whiskey with a body of deep amber. Flavor is raisin vomit (yes, raisins can puke) and bottom-shelf whiskey. Watery mouthfeel. Hopefully, Reilley killed himself.

12oz bottle, no date. Hazy orange copper with a small beige head, fair retention. Aroma of old bourbon and some vegetal notes, light tang as well as some caramel. Flavor is fairly tangy with some buttery and woody qualities. Bitterness peaked @ a 3 in the dry finish. Light body with light carbonation. Me no like.

Poured brown with reddish tint and a huge head. Aroma was bourbon with malty and grainy notes. The flavor was woody, oxidized, dry and slightly malty with warming alcohol. The flavors are enhanced as the beer warms. The palate is very smooth and fizzy. Overall this is a decent beer with a good presentation and the mellow flavors really intensify as the beer warms.

Bottle, your fucking kidding me this won GOLD in GABF07 Barrel Aged beers! What the fuck was the competition? Oak aged woodchuck?!?! Pours an amber red body with a tan head. A thin watery oak vanilla and light bourbon body with over ripe fruit and a bitter finish. Eh its okay but undeserving of its accomplishments...

12oz bottle Label says Reilly’s Oak Whiskey Red 5/27/09 (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, bourbon, oak, and vanilla. Taste of oak, vanilla, little sourness, and slight bourbon. This light bodied brew is not bad wish it had more bourbon and it is not very well balanced. Not bad.

Bottle at Klub-tasting - Thanks Jannik. Cloudy red/brown - offwhite head. Wood, oak, vanilla, coconut, ryebread, berries, sweetness, brown sugar, caramel, light bitterness. The taste disspears in the aftertaste, and comes back a a light sourness and pointy feeling.
