Poured a deeper orangish color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of wood, caramel, bourbon, and grain. Tastes of whiskey, wood, vanilla, and caramel. Lightly sweet caramely malty nose has good bourbon oaky character. Body starts fairly full with a light caramely malty sweetness and rich bourbon balance with a hint of butterscotch toward the drier, oaky finish. A pretty nice beer. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively/soft carbonation.

Wood, oak, vanilla, coconut, ryebread, berries, sweetness, brown sugar, caramel, light bitterness. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, oak, fruittiness and carmel. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, oak, light bourbon, light fruittiness and light vanilla with a crisp lingering bittersweet finish.
