Draft at the brewpub. An unclear golden beer with a lazing light orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries in the front with lighter notes of wheat in the back ground. The flavor is sweet again with strong notes of raspberries - too much for me with light notes of wheat in the back ground, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Turn down the raspberries, please. The body is thin.

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), trace yeast (dough), with a note of raspberry. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Simple aroma (not much under the berries) and the thin/fizzy soda pop mouthfeel. Not the cleanest finish. Eh.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours light yellow with a three-finger foamy white head. Aroma is definitely raspberry. Near medium body with somewhat frothy carbonation. Flavor is papery wheat with a light raspberry overlay. Light drinkable beer.

4 oz sampler at the brewery, 4/15/06: Hazy yellow. Very watery. Vaguely razzy but not really. Overall impression: Watery!

April 17, 2009: Bottle. Pours clear and sparkling gold with a spare, rocky, white head, mostly diminishing with no lacing. Aroma is average malt (husky grain, bread, meal, cereal), light hop (flowers), average yeast (sweat) with notes of raspberry. Light bodied, gritty texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. Has a vinous and leafy flavor to it. June 26, 2005 rating: Tap. Pours light gold with a white foamy head. Fragrant raspberry aroma. Mild raspberry and wheat flavors. Creamy feel and light bodied. 6-3-5-2-12=2.8
