| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 6, 2008 tap at the brewpub - Pours dark amber and has an aroma of malts and fruity esters that also come through in the flavor. In that sense it reminded me of their blonde ale. Add caramel malt, a mild to moderate hops bite, and a medium body. It works well as a session beer. sallad (111), USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 7, 2007 Somewhat hazy, deep mahogany with a nice tan head. A little bit bready / yeasty aromas. Some nice sweetness and spice, too. Rich amber malt backbone, a little bit dry and bitter, with a toasty tangy finish. Not a whole lot of hops. RSRIZZO (1369), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Had this beer on 9/6/1999. Color is a deep hazy red with good carbonation and head. Aroma is a deep roasted malt scent. Taste is bold, robust, and malty. Starting off with a rich body the flavors of roasted malt come on right away. It goes down crisp as the finish begins with a strong malt flavor and ending with a nice but firm hop bitterness and a faint hop flavor. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a reddish brown color with a small head. Malty aroma with caramel and some molasses. Taste includes some nut and light hoppiness as well. It was well balanced, but seemed a little unrefined at the end. Sweet finish. Other than that, not a bad brew at all. I would say thi is closer to a scottish than an irish anyway. Nice malt flavors and very easy to drink. Not too hoppy and no serious off flavors. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA

Memories...............AAAAHHHHHH........
taste is metallic guava and mango with a sharp sour note, not themost enjoyable flavor by far. brush your teeth then eat a cherry, then suck on a penny, then drink a bud, there ya go. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
