Body is dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (dough), with notes of tea and minerals. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. "Medium-rare" caramel flavors with a moderate, burnt/roast finish that seems to meld pretty well with the hop bitterness. Doesn’t jump out at you, but a fairly enjoyable beer with a good amount of flavor. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
