Aroma is a deep roasted malt scent. Taste is bold, robust, and malty. Starting off with a rich body the flavors of roasted malt come on right away. It goes down crisp as the finish begins with a strong malt flavor and ending with a nice but firm hop bitterness and a faint hop flavor. VitaminR (442), Colorado, USA

Smooth complex malt sweetness, with a subtle hop bitterness that complements the malts. Medium bodied with a smooth easy finish. Really nice session beer. Braudog (3773), Dayton, Ohio, USA

But the flavor is more caramel and smooth. Intriguing. Good session offering and the best I found here. Had a follow-on pint after the samplers. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
