Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (lemon), lightly yeasty (sweat).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
This is the base beer used for the Raspberry wheat, and will likely be bottled for the summer (though the name may change). Not sure why this was being poured at a strong ale fest. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2005 Pale, no head. Honey sweetness, fades to a nice lagery, wheat filled finish. Nice bitter and organic taste to this one. Aubrey (2781), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2005 Slightly hazy and golden. Crisp, light mouthfeel, but not necessarily watery. Wonderful malt flavors -- chewy wheat, nutty grains and a wholesome earthiness, with a curious element of woodsiness. Very mild bitterness. Overall it’s a mild beer, but it’s very well made and pretty tasty.
