One hell of a day put on by Cquiroga, thanks for a killer day Chris. Also spent the day there with bikesanbeer, my girlfriend Cyn, wetherel, JohnC, DenverLogan, dirty_martini, jasparg, DrBil, IPAFiend, awaisanen and many others, this was one crazy day. Bottle from one of cquiroga’s many boxes. Pours copper and bubbly. Sweet nose, dried fruit. Taste is sweet and sour. Not as good as the 2005 vintage if you ask me. | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Pours a hazy straw amber. Very carbonated with a thick, soft head of nearly white foam. Fantastic lacing. Honey malt, caramel malt, and citrus in the aroma.
Great wheat and sweet caramel malt flavors. Now throw in oak, pepper, and vanilla. There’s a spicy bitterness in the finish like noble hops and black tea.
Full body, full carbonation (an understatement). exceptionally smooth, mellow, and flavorful. The alcohol is so well hidden that I uh well man you know it just um creeps up and ahhh...
A world class beer! robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
