Do not get the apriocat some mention but I caught the honey dew melon note- clean, crisp , distinct from the alcohol strength and a slight sticky sweetness. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 30, 2007 Aroma of wheat, citrus, pineapple, fruit, and hops. Rose/orange color with a foamy tan head. Sweet flavors with a hoppy balance. Notes of flowers, citrus, melon, wheat, and light roasted malt. Creamy and well balanced on the palate. Rich but not overbearing. Very good. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Courtesy Solan. Pours a very yeasty light red color, with pretty much no head. Smells of sweet malts, sweet fruits, mild wheat, and yeast. the taste is pretty sweet on the palate, alcohol is detectable the entire way through, with a pretty thick mouthfeel. The wheat actually is quite noticeable in the flavor, but the malts balance it out quite well. Definitely a sipper, as the finish was thick and alcohol dominated. Nice experience. jimbowood (954), Athens, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Pours a tranlucent orange with a faint citrusy aroma. Unusual, in that it has lots of wood notes right up front, then a malty alcohol flavor with citrus highlights. A Belgiany aftertaste. Very nice and interesting. iowaherkeye (1858), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 750mL, 2006 vintage. My first rating at my new home. Hazy orange copper with a small beige head that fades to a film. It does rouse a small creamy head for a short while. Aroma of tart lemony wheat, sweet ripened bananas, and a fair amount of alcohol. I’m hard pressed to find any oak or vanilla, so maybe the 2006 wasn’t aged in barrels? Light earth makes itself present as this warms. Flavor is too boozy, a fair amount of wheaty tang is present, some citrus, a little bit of banana, though there was a strange addition of mangoes--I dunno where the hell that came from. Sweet, alcoholic, slightly earthy finish. Light carbonation that is both prickly and cream with a full body. I really want to like these guys’ beers a lot, but it just can’t be done. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2007 05. Dark amber, very little carbonation almost nothing but it was filled right to the cap. Aroma is citrus, slight banana, and a big sourness. Flavor is a straight sour punch to the face, very gueze really dry and tart. Some fruitiness comes through as well with lots of lemony citrus sourness, some raspberries but it’s the sourness that just prevails.
