tmoreau (527), Lombard, Illinois, USA Sep 1, 2009 Pint served during the end of it’s tenure on tap at the Two Brother’s Tap House. (according to Gabe) Called the "Granny"- a Gravity Strong Pale Ale made in conjunction with Adam from the Clark Street Ale House as a classic Pale Ale -> IPA. (according to the beer menu) The pour was a very clear golden hue, with a modest, bubbly foam that diminished to a light film and perimeter ring but left some nice clingy spots and ribbons. The aroma was a subtle touch of sweetness, bready malt and grassy hop aroma. The flavor was the smooth malt and balancing hop flavor and bitterness, less the sweetness. Flavorfully light, crisp and clean, with a nice dry finish.
