Beer at the Pier. Golden in color, caramel malt flavor with hops. A very good beer.

Pour is descent gold with small head. Aroma has caramel, malts, easy on the hops. Flavor is spot on for what you look for on a mildly warm summer day, unfortunatly not so much any other day of the year. Its not horrible, just mediocre, very mediocre. Caramel and malts are most noticed on the tongue, a descent bit of carbonation but if you get past that it goes down quite easy. Give me another.

Bow wow wow yippie yo yippie yay. Now that’s out of the way I can report the noble hops are slight, and other than bitterness this is a below average lager.

bottle-pours golden yellow with a very small amount of carbonation with a very small white head around the rim of my glass. grainy, dirty, fainlty noble hop aroma-light grassy notes. flavros are grainy, sweet, pale munich malt husks and a plasticy-artificial finish. light peachy notes as well. body is low in carbonation and detracts greatly from the beers pleasantness. i think this would be a pretty decent beer with proper carbonation. i will re-rate next summer!

White head, light orange yellow in color. Light and with an abrupt, crisp aftertaste. Also available at (at least) Village Bottle Shoppe in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Thin white head. Light yellow clear color. "Delicate" is the key to flavor. An ok beer but nothing to keep in the frig.

I’m underwhelmed. This beer, which was purchased in Warrenville, IL, while on a jaunt to Chicago, was something I hoped I’d enjoy. I was really psyched, in fact. Yet it’s so DRY and crisp and a tad metallic, and overly fizzy, that it reminds me of an Asahi Dry or a Sapporo. Sadly, such is the Dort/Helles style, and nothing can be done about it. I’ve never much liked the style.

Nothing better then having a beer at work on a Friday afternoon. Nice summer beer, the kind you want to enjoy on a beach.
