Aug 8, 2005 Poured a clear golden yellow with just a light head around the edge of the glass. Sweet aroma with some caramel and honey.. intensified as it warmed. Flavor picked up some caramel and other sweet malts.. as well as some noble hops. Very crisp and clean on the palate. Smooth and tasty brew.

Aug 4, 2005 Bottle. Dated best by 11/22/05. Certainly pours nice. A helles kind of gold with a bit of depth in the glass. Very thin ring of foam left over. Nice blustery German beer smell. Taste is full of those light lager malts with a brush of Vienna, and a clean German hop profile. Not exceptional, but a fine summer brew that sticks to style.

Jul 10, 2005 12 oz bottle - poured golden with a white fluffy head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts. Flavor is quite sweet as well. Caramel and some light corn come through. On the palate this is light bodied and very drinkable. A good summer beer and quite true to the style.

Jul 10, 2005 Pour is a very cloudy yellow for a lager. Head is frigging huge! Aroma is a nice malt and hop mix. Flaovir is a citrusy and hop combo. The finish is nice and refreshing. A nice twist to the stayle and quite tasty.

Jun 28, 2005 Bottle: Hazy yellow, large white rocky head, nice lacing, soft carbonation. Soft spicy/fruity nose very similar to the core of a kiwi, but not as sweet. Tart on the tongue, spicy but not as much as the aroma. Very light malt profile, a bit spritzy. Average body and mouthfeel. Finishes clean, crisp, and somewhat like an extremely weakened saison + gueuze. Very different for a Helles, not as lagerish as I had expected, but tasty regardless. Thanks Mike!

Jun 20, 2005 A golden/amber colored beer with lively effervescence and a creamy, white film for a head. Flowery hop aroma with some lemon and a mild touch of skunk that wasn’t bothersome. Saaz hops? Lightly bitter with a honey-sweetness to round out a very smooth beer.

Jun 1, 2005 very refreshing fruity lager. excellent balance between the malt and hops. this is actually one of the better two brother’s products that i have tried, although all have been decent.

Jan 30, 2005 This was on sale at Whole Foods for a whopping $3.99 per six pack. Didn’t expect a whole lot and was pleasantly surprised. (That said, I wouldn’t pay $7 or $8 for it.) Pours a light clouded yellow/amber color that changes a lot depending on lighting. Nice foamy head that doesn’t go away right away. Aroma is weak, hops and grass. First sip is malty with apple undertones that give way to hops that could be a bit stronger. All in all, well worth a try at $4...
