I bought this in July, and didn’t get to drinking it until December. It’s surprisingly still OK. It still pours a minimal head, has a carmelly aroma with a hint of hops. You can taste the malt, but the citrusy hops soon take over. It’s not the best balanced, but this may be due to the extended fermentation I left it alone to do over the months.

Pours turbid gold with minimal white head and floaties. Aroma of malt, hopcit, slight honey. Tastes of hopcit, malt, slight fruit. A decent helles. More complex and balanced than most.

Yellow. Dry, malty, slightly medicinal aroma with notes of cooked veggies and herbal, grassy hops. Nice flavor. Nice maltiness fruitiness, with tropical fruits coming into play on the finish accompanied by a lovely, subtle hop bitterness. Light bodied. Not bad.

A clear golden color with a generous frothy head, this has a nice, mild malty flavor. The light hopping give it a crisp, clean finish. A tasty lager.

A tasty summer treat. Very yellow with a thin head. Refreshing with a nice, mild dose of hops and a bit of fruitiness. Maybe a bit weak on carbonation but satisfying nonetheless.

Bright yellow and excellently carbonated. Nice floral aroma. Smooth and starchy, sweet and malty with decent bitter finish. Almost as good as the best German lagers, but falls a bit short in character.

Bottled. Nice yellow-orange color. Some fruity notes throughout, with malty-yeastiness. Good medium body. consistent throughout and very drinkable. Good summer session beer.

Bottle into small plastic tasting cup, Humulus Lupus @ Jak’s Tap (Chicago). Not good. Aroma was vinegar, sour, and pilsner. Appeared yellow with no head, but as it was in the little tasting glass, take that with a grain of salt. Tasted kind of sweet with something like garlic, mealy; tasted like a bad macro. Finish was a nice length (unfortunately), but was skunky.
