Clear golden pour with a white head. Aroma is grainy, earthy, lightly sweet with a bit of hops. Flavor is malty, some caramel with some hops in the finish. Not totally crisp, but alright. Ok, pedestrian lager.

Pint served at the Tap House. Poured a clear golden color with a modest white, bubbly head that reduced quickly to a light filmy layer and thin ring of foam. The nose was some grain, light Pils malt and noble hop aroma. The flavor added some dryness and bitterness to match the body, which was light. Clean and sessionable brew.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Malty caramel body with some grain and skunky hop nose. Some earthiness and floral character is mildly detected as well. A mild grass hop accent. Body is thin and dull. Nothing much here.

Purchase a single 12-oz bottle from Cellars WIne & Spirits in St Paul. Pours a clear golden orange brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and thin ring. Aroma of light caramel malt, some floral hops, a touch of toffee and some corn. Taste is slightly sweet, medium bodied with flavors of multi-grain malt some floral hops and some corn. Finish is semi-sweet, a little malty with a mild bittern aftertaste that slowly disappears.

Bottle. Pours a weak orange with an aroma of thin, streamlined corn grain. Flavor is retarded malt grain and a finish of sketchy hops. This beer is not good. Dare I say it sucks?

This beer pours a mostly clear orange color wth a thin white head that fizzes away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is fruity with notes of sugary bread and hops. Light body with flavors of grainy malt, citrus fruit and mild hops. The finish is thin, fruity and short. Just average overall, and my last rated beer for 2008 turned out to be not so exciting.

This was a solid lager. Pour was golden straw color with a small quick diminishing head. Aroma of grains and hops. Taste was slightly sweet, a tad malty, finished with a clean and hoppy-floral flavor. It had an oily mouthfeel and a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Overall, a good beer and one I’d buy again.

Bottle. Foggy, golden yellow pour with little head. Aroma of sweet malt with some hints of grassiness. Flavor somewhat sugary sweet, grass and a touch of citrus. Pretty simple beer, but also pretty refreshing.
