Medium yellow pour with a thick, white head, a mild nose of citrusy hops, not much going on there, highly drinkable and balanced but really not much taste either. I really don’t care for this style. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Pours a medium gold body with very small froth head. Aroma has a very crisp hop notes and a little stale malty. Flavor starts with the same sort of stale maltiness with a quick bitter fruity finish. Medium bodied, I sort of wonder if it may be a bad batch because it just seemed a little so-so to me compared to some of the other Two Bros I have had. TheShat (131), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2008 Draft had a rocky creamy head. There is a light hoppy aroma along with a smell of sour milk. This beer has a thin watery mouthfeel and is a balanced. Average beer. To watery for my taste, I hoped for more flavor. 17thfloor (1484), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 14, 2008 Pours clear golden with not many bubbles and a dismal white froth for a head. Some bread in the aroma, sour malt, but mostly skunked German hops. Typical Two Brothers sweetness...bleh... the malt is sugary like corn syrup and not bready like the style dictates. Hops are drowned out in the sugariness. A little bit bitter in the finish. Tastes like the other Two Bro’s brews. Sour and yucky like week old bottom of the barrel keg beer.
