Poured a light to medium golden color with a very small sized white head. Aromas of grass, light honey, and same graininess. Tastes of lighter grass with a light honey finish. Not really complex, but drinkable. CaptainCougar (5494), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Bottle best by 9/20/07: Pours an effevescent bright golden with an airy, frothy white head. Aroma of toasty earthy grainy malts and maize with some soapy noble hops. Body starts with a mild grainy malty sweetness and some strange buttery soapy off-flavors toward a drier, bitter finish. Not really sure what is wrong, but I don’t want to finish it. Probably got a bad bottle. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Golden colour. Nice, clean lagered nose. Crackery/bready malts and a touch of light biscuity character. A little bit of caramel and a decent noble hoppiness. Bitterness is light but present with a decent balance of soft hoppiness. Clean, fresh sweet malts. Quite fresh and fairly authentic. It’s good. Cornfield (4948), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
