| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Bottle. Clear orange/copper with a frothy off-white head. Caramel, floral, honey, herbal, butterscotch and cereal notes in the aroma. Flavor of cookie and caramel malts with some butterscotch and a slight herbal hop backing. A bit of a slippery ’tea with honey’ mouthfeel. I was hoping for some more complexity. chicagodri (1051), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Sweet aroma. Very little head and not much carbonization. Very clear beer, I can watch the Bears game through it :) Just a little sweet, heavy on the malt. Average beer. Nothing amazing. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Tap at Barcade: Pours amber with a good amount of clarity, topped by an off white head. Very buttery aroma. Malt dominated, with a hint of butterscotch sweetness. The body is creamy and mildly carbonated. The flavor has a buttery malt character as well. Pleasantly sweet, toffeeish on the back with a toasted finish. Simple, but smooth with a solid profile. puzzl (2619), New York, New York, USA

Good bready malts aroma. Florals. Clear, fragrant, mellow malts, biscuit and parsley taste. Goes down easy. Nice BdG. clingman71 (254), Centerville, Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Updated: Feb 25, 2008Bottle. Pours a deep amber with an ample off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt. This beer is pretty soft with an overall malt sweetness. There is an underlying hop presence, but not quite enough for my taste. I wouldn’t want it "hoppy", not for the style, but a mild increase in hop spiciness would improve it in my opinion. It is a decent beer, not bad in any way, but nothing to write home about either. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Pours bright amber with a fully receding wispy light tan head. Aroma of fruity, earthy Fuggles, light caramel, and fruity toffee. Taste is sweet, with malty notes of caramel, toffee, nuts, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly sticky with very light resins with soft carbonation. A good beer, but not one I’d buy again.
