Commercial Description:
This French-style country ale is deep amber in color. With a toasty, sweet caramel start, it finishes with just enough hops to clean off the palate. Bon Appetit!

This offering from Two Brothers pours a dark maroon that has some yeast floating around the body, leaving a tan lace that floats on the top of the beer. The aroma is plum, dates, figs, prune lots of "stone fruit" are present in this saison. There is a sweetness to the body (sugary prune juice). The taste is hoppy, starts off with watery plum fruit juice feel, it has a malty background that reminds me of grape juice. The finish is a suttle hop bitter aftertaste with a somewhat floural watery mouthfeel. Pretty decent overall, I love the different flavor for this saison.

Totally clear golden-amber, tiny white head. Not too inspiring to start with. Worse, poorly extracted pils malt generates corny DMS that dulls out the perfumey, fruity, honeyed nose. Lasting fruity flavours are accompanied by unpleasant ascorbic acids, potatoes vegetal flavours and limited tartness. Flat, very watery and highly processed palate. A real shame this, I had been looking for this beer for over a year and it’s a trainwreck in this condition (filtered 12oz) and I’m not gonna be making big efforts to look for other issues.

[bottle] Kind of one-dimensional. Sweet aroma, sweet flavors. Not too much yeast or malt presence. Still, this is nice.

Bottle. Clear amber with a sma head. Aroma is mostly malty. Taste is just dissapointing thou with just the flavor of malty soda water. Some yeastiness but not much at all.

(Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy bronze body with an average-sized off-white head. Aroma of caramel, florals, and toasted malt. Flavor of toasted malt, cocoa, and toffee with a dry finish.
