Nose of fruit and herbs with some toasted malt, and some nice yeast character. Lemon flavors with a bit pear juice. Medium body with plenty of carbonation. Leaves a sticky film on my lips. Finishes dry. Overall, there’s nothing too special here. Decent enough, but I can do without. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Bottle pours a hazed amber brown with not much head (I tried) and very little residual lace. The aroma is fruity and somewhat spiced. The flavor has a very sweet malt base that tries to hold up some hops and spice as per style, but seems a touch too sweet. The palate is medium bodied and refreshing. This is not bad. It accompanies food well enough. Overall, I’m glad I picked it up as part of a build your own. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA
