Bottle: Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin small-bubbled white head, clove and banana in the aroma, starts and ends lightly sweet with a touch of sour at the end, medium bodied with playful carbonation, crisp and refreshing ending.

Golden and cloudy, sweet aroma of wheat and banana. Sweet taste, lightly grassy with banana, lemon. Decent Hefe, nice for a hot summer day.

12oz bottle pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Very yeasty banana aroma with a little clove. Smooth and sweet in the mouth with more banana clove yeast and wheat. Surpisingly tasty brew.

Cloudy, amber/orange appearance; thin white head, little lacing. Spicy (cloves), yeasty aroma. Taste is tart, tangy, mildly spiced, balanced by a bit of sweetness. Smooth, medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Short lived finish with an acidic edge.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Standard hefe goings on with banana, clove and citrus notes. Everything seems a bit toned down but it works as a decent Summer brew.

Mix of orange and brown in color makes this an unusual sight for a hefe. No foam at all until the bottle was almost completely in the glass. Most of what I taste is clove with a hint of lemon. Very little banana flavor. In the mouth it is smooth and crisp with just a hint of tartness in the back of the tongue. This one was a pleasant drinking and well crafted beer.

12oz, Best by 11/03/06. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a tiny white head. Aromas of typical banana and clove, some lemon, and a weird bitter plastic smell. This is a little more sour than I’d expect a hefe to be, but you can’t win ’em all. Medium bodied, moderate-light carbonation, somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Not too bad, doesn’t quite compare to my Weihenstephaner-I spelled it right on the first try.
